App Village is building a field guide for useful, focused iPhone apps. Strong submissions make every factual claim easy to verify.
Submission checklist
Give the editor evidence, not superlatives
There is no submission form wired to this static page yet. Use this checklist to prepare a complete submission when contacting App Village through an available project or partner channel.
Purchase model
Current download price, in-app purchases, subscriptions, trials, optional unlocks, and the storefront or region checked.
Platform support
State whether the app supports iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac, and provide a reliable public source for each claim.
Privacy and accounts
Include the privacy-policy URL, App Store privacy information, and whether core use requires an account. Do not summarize away important exceptions.
Useful proof
Supply current screenshots and factual feature notes. Avoid rankings, unsupported awards, or performance claims without evidence.
Relationship
Disclose whether you are the developer, an agency, a user, or another interested party, plus any commercial relationship.
What happens after submission
Submission is a request for consideration, not a guarantee of inclusion, placement, praise, or timing. App Village may verify the destination and factual claims, narrow the wording, request better evidence, or leave a constraint field unverified.
Editorial and paid routes are different
Editorial consideration follows the verification methodology and editorial policy. Developers seeking a disclosed storefront, creative production, or campaign placement can review the separate partner route. Payment does not buy favorable editorial opinion.
Current ownership disclosure. The four apps now listed in App Village—Koala Journal: Voice Diary, Caffeine Tracker: Bedtime, Sunscreen Buddy: UV Reminder, and Blind Box Tracker—are developed by Nicholas Wong, who also owns and edits App Village. They are first-party listings.
