A useful guide should make it easy to see what is known, what is editorial interpretation, and what still needs checking.
The verification loop
Small claims, clear sources
Separate
Keep factual metadata distinct from a developer's positioning, App Village's editorial judgment, and any commercial placement.
Qualify
Only include an app in a constraint guide when evidence supports that exact constraint. Missing evidence remains “not verified,” not “probably true.”
Date-sensitive facts
Treat price, availability, subscriptions, in-app purchases, privacy labels, and platform support as facts that can change.
Avoid false precision
Do not publish rankings, scores, aggregate ratings, test results, or comparisons without a documented basis.
Correct
Update a page when a material fact changes or a developer provides reliable evidence. Keep the page's scope honest while verification is pending.

Constraint-guide rule
Words such as “no subscription,” “no account,” “private,” and “Apple Watch” are independently verified fields. One field never stands in for another. A fixed displayed price does not prove no subscriptions; “kept on your iPhone” does not prove a complete privacy model; “free” does not describe in-app purchases.
